Service Monitor - Managing Subscription Settings

This guide describes how you can manage the notifications displayed by the Service Monitor. All notifications contain an opt-out option that allows you to unsubscribe from email or text messages at any time.

Unsubscribing From Email Notifications

To unsubscribe from email notifications:

1. Click on the Click Here link at the bottom of the email notification. You will be automatically unsubscribed from future email notifications.

Unsubscribing from SMS Notifications

To unsubscribe from SMS notifications:

1. Reply to the SMS with SMSTOP. You'll be automatically unsubscribed from future SMS notifications.

Changing Your Subscription Settings

To change your subscription settings:

1. Open the Service Monitor. See the Accessing the Service Monitor page for full details.
2. Click the Account Icon in the top right-hand corner.

3. Click on the Settings menu item.

   
4. Enable/disable the options to:

    • Subscribe to Email Alerts.
    • Subscribe to SMS Alerts.

5. Click on the Save button.

Please note that there may be cases in which Email Alert notifications are not sent. For more information, see Service Monitor Emails Not Sending - Oct 2024.

Opting Into Receiving Notifications

Should you decide to opt to receive notifications having previously opted out:

1. Open the Service Monitor. See the Accessing the Service Monitor page for full details.
2. Click the Account Icon in the top right-hand corner.
3. Click on the Settings menu item.
4. Provide your Contact Details.
5. Enable the options to:

    • Subscribe to Email Alerts.
    • Subscribe to SMS Alerts.

6. Click on the Save button.
7. Configure your Subscriber Settings. See the "Changing a Subscriber" section of the Service Monitor: Managing Subscribers page for full details.

You can only update your subscription settings if you've previously opted out. This prevents other users from reading you.
