This article describes how administrators responsible for moderating held messages for other users, can use the Mimecast for Mobile application to release or block them.
For example, you may be able to manage held messages for a colleague, or your manager. This functionality must be enabled by your administrator and by default doesn't show any messages.

You can manage held messages, by using the following steps:
- Tap on the Admin Held Queue menu item.
- Select a Message to display the message's header.
- If required, tap on the Message Details link to display the message's details.
If you've permission to view the message content, you can select the Show Message Content link.
- Either tap the:
-

You can also access Release and Reject actions, by swiping on a message's details in the Admin Held Queue.
Searching for Messages
The Admin Held Queue lists 100 messages by default rather than the 25 messages displayed in the Personal On Hold and Moderated On Hold queues, but you can search for messages. When you search, the 100 message limit is removed and all messages that match the search term are listed.
You can search for messages, by using the following steps:
- Tap in the Filter Messages field.
- Enter your Search Criteria.
- Tap on the Search button.
You can remove a search, by using the following steps:
- Tap in the Filter Messages field.
- Remove the Search Criteria.
- Tap on the Cancel button next to Filter Messages field, or Search button on virtual keyboard (iOS), or X button (Android)
