Archiving for Teams allows the synchronization of real-time and legacy Microsoft Teams data to your Mimecast Archive. The synchronization from your Microsoft environment requires a Connector and IM Sync Task. Once archived, the data can be searched and exported.
Retention of Microsoft Teams data will follow the Retention period set on your Mimecast account by default, however, retention can be established separately by setting a Maximum Retention (Days) for Instant Message in Account Settings.
