Overview
Mimecast is pleased to announce the new Allow Printing application setting in the Mimecast Administration Console, which affects whether Mimecast Personal Portal End Users can print messages.
What's changing
- You will now be able to restrict your End Users from being able to see the Print button when viewing emails in the Mimecast Personal Portal, via the new Allow Printing application setting.
- If you don't wish for your End Users to be able to print messages, you can turn off the setting to hide the Print button.
- Allow Printing will be on by default. You will need to manually turn off the setting for the Print button to be hidden.

Recommended actions
- In the Mimecast Administration Console, navigate to Services | Applications.
- Click on the relevant Application Settings.

Expand the Web section, and set Allow Printing to the required setting of ticked (on), or unticked (off), and Save changes.
- Repeat for each set of Application Settings that control End Users of the Mimecast Personal Portal, as required.
