| A: | To use this solution, customers will need to configure Workspaces based on their individual needs. The feature is available to every Mimecast Administration Console user role, but each user is required to set up their own Workspace(s). |
| Q: | Can Workspaces be shared between users? |
| A: | No, they are unique to each user. |
| Q: | Can you create Workspaces in AAA/FAA for subtenants? |
| A: | No, an AAA/FAA user cannot create a Workspace for a subtenant. Similarly, Workspaces cannot be shared or assigned between multiple users even within the same organization as it is specific to every user. |
| Q: | To what extent are Workspaces customizable? |
| A: | Each Workspace can contain a minimum of two (2) and a maximum of ten (10) pages. However, a user cannot pre-set granular parameters e.g. direction filters, date / time ranges etc. |
| Q: | How many Workspaces can be created per user profile? |
| A: | There is no limit to the number of Workspaces that can be created. |
| Q: | What permissions are required to create a workspace? |
| A: | Workspaces are available for all roles but are limited to pages the user has access to. |
| Q: | Are there any suggested or recommended Workspaces I should create? |

Currently, there are no predefined or suggested Workspaces available. However, the Workspace team is actively monitoring how users interact with the feature in the months following its launch. This will allow us to better understand usage patterns and collect data to develop meaningful recommendations tailored to users based on their role, organization, or industry. Our goal is to use this data to provide intelligent suggestions in the future, ensuring that Workspaces are as useful and relevant as possible for users’ specific needs. |
| Q: | Does Workspaces allow state management? |
| A: |
No, Workspaces focuses only on customizing navigation by allowing users to group pages (from the left-hand menu) into personalized collections. It does not save the state of individual pages (e.g., unsaved changes or specific configurations). Workspaces are designed to improve navigation efficiency and productivity by reducing the need to manually search for or repeatedly navigate to commonly used pages. However, its functionality is limited to organizing pages and does not include state management or other advanced customizations. |

Q: Can I Favorite a Workspace for easy access? |
| A: |
Yes, you can Favorite up to ten (10) Workspaces, while creating or after creating each Workspace. Favorited Workspaces can be accessed from the dropdown menu when you click the Workspace icon, eliminating the need to visit the main Workspaces page every time. You can also manage your favorites from the Workspace homepage by adding or removing the star icon next to each Workspace. |
