Overview

Mimecast is pleased to announce enhancements to the Home Page and the data that are included in PDF Reports, leveraging data and benchmarking information.

What's changing

Enhancements to Detection Overview Card

- The Analysis tab will retain the existing Detection Overview Card, including the trend of Detection Categories (Malware, Phishing, Spam, and Untrustworthy) along with the Donut Chart .
- The Details tab is added alongside the Analysis tab, displaying the timeline trend for subcategories within the selected date range. This tab will not include a Donut Chart but will continue to present the Volume of Emails, Chats, and Files.

- - - Every detection can be associated with up to three subcategories associated with it, as shown on the Detection Details page. As all the subcategories are captured and identified within a date range, the total number of subcategories may exceed the number of Detections and could surpass the Volume of Emails, Chats and Files.
    - A maximum of 10 subcategories will be displayed. If the total exceeds 10, the top 9 will be shown individually, with the rest grouped as Other.
    - This will include standard functionalities consistent with the rest of the Home Page such as clicking on a legend to exclude a specific subcategory and hovering to display additional information.
    - Clicking on View All Detections will navigate the user to the Detections Page, applying only the default filters regardless of the selected legends.

New Widgets on the Home Page

Top Attacks by Threat Details

- This widget will be a representation of the top 10 subcategories identified across a date range chosen.
- Clicking on a certain subcategory segment will take the user into the Detections page filtered by that particular subcategory.
- Clicking on View All Detections takes the user to the Detections page with the default categories applied
- Most Malicious Sender

- The top 5 malicious email senders across the chosen date range are displayed.
- Clicking on a row redirects to Detections page filtered with the sender.

Enhancements to Threat Scan Only mode

The following widgets will now be made available in Threat Scan Only mode:

- - Top Attacks by Threat Details.
  - Top 5 Targeted Recipients.
  - Top 5 Malicious Senders.
  - Inbound Email Detections by Origin.

Enhancements to Weekly, Monthly, Threat Scan Reports

The threat scan report will be updated to include:

- Top 5 Targeted Recipients.
- Most Malicious Senders.
- Inbound Email Detections by Origin.
- Top Attacks by Threat Details.

The weekly/monthly reports will be updated to include:

- Top 5 Targeted Recipients
- Most Malicious Senders
- Inbound Email Detections by Origin
- Top Attacks by Threat Details
- Admin Login Locations
