Overview
Mimecast is pleased to announce a new feature in Behavioral Nudges in Engage that allows you to choose the method of sending Behavioral Nudges via Email or Microsoft Teams, or a combination of both, via a new integration.
What's changing
Teams Nudges introduces a new communication channel within Engage, allowing you to send nudges directly to users via Microsoft Teams, instead of relying solely on email. This functionality will be seamlessly integrated into Mimecast’s Integrations Hub, providing you with a straightforward setup process to configure Microsoft Teams as a notification channel and manage nudges dynamically.
- You can set up the Microsoft Teams connector through the Integrations Hub, where you can:
- Manage and customize nudge messages.
- Test configurations.
- Track sent nudges in the Human Risk Dashboard.
- Features of Teams Nudges include:
- Dynamic updates to nudges configuration page when Microsoft Teams is configured.
- A plain text editor for message customization.
- Action logs will record delivered nudges in the Human Risk Dashboard.
- The Microsoft Teams bot named Mimecast, will allow you to enable nudges that call out poor or good user behavior, via the use of Microsoft Teams.
- Teams Nudges will enable you to engage your users more effectively, increasing the likelihood of nudge visibility and action. This feature will improve security awareness and help ensure relevant educational information is delivered to users where they're most likely to see it.
Recommended actions
A new banner and tool-tip in the UI will notify administrators that Teams Nudges are not available until an integration with Microsoft Teams is configured via the Integrations Hub.
