Overview

Mimecast is pleased to announce the release of new Archive Search & Export tools for all Email Security Cloud Gateway customers. This modernizes the core Archive Search, Saved Searches, and Export functions whilst ensuring enhanced performance. 

What's changing

• Email Security Cloud Gateway Customers that haven't purchased Archive and are currently able to use Archive Search and Exports in the Mimecast Administration Console can now make use of the new Archive Search & Export menu option.
  • In the Mimecast Administration Console, the Archive Search menu item will now be replaced by the Archive Search & Export Menu item under the top-level Archive menu.

• From the Archive Search & Export menu, you can perform, save, and export searches all within the same page, either from the Archive Search tab or by navigating between the tabs that appear on the left. 

The Exports and Updates, and Saved Searches options will remain as they are; however, at a later stage, these options will only be available in the new Archive Search & Export menu.

Recommended actions

No action is required, and the Archive Search & Export option can be used as required.
