This article summarizes the differences between DMARC Analyzer 1.0 and DMARC Analyzer 2.0.

Landing Page

Add Domains

Domain Groups

Creation of Domain Groups is part of the account menu.	Creation of Domain Groups is an integral experience of Domain Management
Creation of groups based on a combination set of rules, these can be explicit (domains), dynamic inclusive/exclusive, and based on domain status	Major change is that there is a choice between static (explicit) and dynamic groups; excluding functionality has been removed to simplify use.

Forensic Reports & PGP Key

User first needs to set a PGP key via the account screen, via User | account | Public Keys.	Re-designed the user experience, showing that the user first needs to setup PGP encryption before the system starts processing Forensic Reports.
Forensic Reports menu option is always present.	Indicating the next step of the setup, after configuration, an overview screen is displaying all messages processed and received

The Aggregate Reports overview is part of the in the left-hand navigation.	Aggregate reports overview is now the first tab of the Aggregate reports section.

Aggregate Reports

Per source view, Per result, Per host, and Detailed stats are separate screens offering a different perspective on the available data (effectively filters).	The updated Per Source View offers a visualization of the available sources in the data and allows marking of sources (classification).
	As soon as the user is expanding the data it shows which domains these sources are active on.
	To investigate further, the Detail View is used. You can expand each of the sources to get access to all information present in the DMARC data. Increasing the level of detail at each step, the Detail View is the screen where you can search and filter data to the lowest level of information that is present as part of the enhanced DMARC XML reports.
Per Organization gives an impression of which DMARC reporters contributed to the data present in the account.	The Per Organization View highlights the Top 10 DMARC reporters as part of a bar-chart, indicating the major contributors of the data. The table below indicates all DMARC reporters contributing data for the selected timeframe and there is the expansion of checking the daily data contribution of any DMARC reporter.

SMTP TLS Report

New functionality added, visualizes SMTP TLS Reports. Information allows users to implement SMTPMTA-STS and DANE for SMTP.  Information is basic and simple (there is not much detail in the raw reports). If connections are successful no additional information is available, upon failure the reports contain more information of what the failure is (additional columns will be populated with information).

Timeline is part of the left-hand navigation.   You can also navigate to it via the Issues Detected indicator at the top right.	The Timeline feature can be navigated to via the left-hand navigation. It provides a chronological view of DNS record changes, helping you to track, analyze, and ensure proper configuration of DMARC, SPF, and DKIM records.
The Timeline screen consists of two distinct sections, the top is the DNS problems and the bottom is the actual timeline.

DNS Checker

DNS Records is part of the left-hand navigation. All DNS based checks are listed under DNS Records including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC record checks.	The DNS Checker reports section can be navigated to via the left-hand navigation.  The DNS Checker screen has tabbed sections for Domain Checker, DMARC. DKIM, SPF, and BIMI.

DNS Record Generator

DMARC record generator is part of the left-hand navigation.	DNS Generator is part of the left-hand navigation.

Compliance Report

DMARC Analyzer 1.0	DMARC Analyzer 2.0
No dedicated Compliance Report. Reporting is pulled in from: Aggregate Reports, which summarize all emails received from your domains and show which IPs are passing or failing. Forensic Reports, which are detailed investigations of individual messages that failed authentication.	The Compliance Report can be accessed via the left-hand navigation, and has tabbed sections for Compliance Status, Change Over Time, and Compliance Actions.

Task Manager

DMARC Analyzer 1.0	DMARC Analyzer 2.0
Task Manager is part of the left-hand navigation, under Workflow Manager. The Task Manager allows you to structure and track the process of your tasks.	The Task Manager can be accessed via the left-hand navigation, and allows you to structure and track the process of deploying DMARC across your organization.
