This article describes how to configure your Mimecast Awareness Training account settings, and is intended for Administrators.
This functionality is mainly relevant to Email Security Cloud Gateway.

Configure Administration Preferences
You can configure your Administration Preferences, by using the following steps:
- Log on to Mimecast Awareness Training.
- Navigate to Settings | General Settings.
- Complete your General Settings, as shown below:

| Select Default User Groups ** |
Select up to 50 unique Groups across Active Directory and Local Groups, who will receive scheduled modules. To select a group, click the Select Group button. Then, in the pop-out panel, click on either:
• Mimecast Directory Sync pulls all
users of Mimecast Awareness Training
from your Active Directory.
It is recommended that each user email address be present
in a Mimecast
Local Profile Group, or
Directory Group. |
| Select Inactive User Group |
Specify a group of users excluded from receiving Mimecast Awareness Training notifications. Select a group from Local Groups or Active Directory Groups, then click Save. To exclude these users from analytics, check Exclude Inactive User Data and click Save. This option is not available in Cloud Integration. See Managing Inactive Users. |
| Reply To and Source Email Addresses |
Replace the default postmaster@<yourdomain>.com email address used in messages and alerts.

| Email Recipient Name | Select the name used in module and phishing emails. See Specifying Custom User Email Name. |
| Industry Benchmarking | Select the organization type that best describes your business. |
| Training Acknowledgment |
Controls whether an acknowledgment is sent to users confirming policy understanding. Up to 300 characters can be specified. View acknowledgments via Reporting & Insights | Compliance Center / User Performance Details. |
| Data Privacy Policy Alert (Optional) |
Enables privacy consent acknowledgment based on applicable regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, POPIA). Users are prompted to acknowledge the Privacy Statement on first login. |
| Schedule Email Sending | Select a time window when emails and notifications are sent. |
| Suspend Email Options ** |
Select which training-related emails are suspended:

| IP Exclusion List |
Exclude clicks from individual IP addresses or CIDR ranges to prevent false-positive phishing failures.

| Company Logo Configuration |
Specify your company logo and how it is applied. Configuration is performed in the Mimecast Administration Console. See Configuring Custom Branding. |
