We are excited to introduce enhanced functionalities and streamlined eDiscovery workflows with Case Review, which offers unparalleled efficiency and effectiveness in managing your investigations. Explore Case Review now!

This guide describes how messages included in a Discovery Case can be reviewed, have their status changed, and have comments added to a message at the same time as changing it's status. This applies to Discovery Officers and users who have been designated as reviewers to specific review streams.

Walkthrough

You can change the status of a message one at a time, or in bulk. When a message's status is changed, it is moved to the appropriate hierarchy's Message Review folder. You can also add a comment to a message, while also setting its status.

Changing a Message's Status

To change a message's status:

  1. Expand the Case in the hierarchy.
  2. Expand the Message Review level in the hierarchy.
  3. Click on one of the Statuses. The messages are displayed.
  4. Click on one of the status toolbar buttons.

The buttons displayed are determined by the message's current status. In the following example, the message's status is pending, so the "Pending" button is not displayed.
